About Didomi Research
Who We Are
Didomi Research is an emerging initiative dedicated to exploring behavior through the lens of evolutionary psychology, neuroscience, and systems thinking. We are not a traditional academic institute, we are building a fast, open space to share ideas, methods, and frameworks that help us understand why we act the way we do, and how those behaviors shape our wellbeing and collective progress.
Our Belief
We believe the human brain has been shaped by millions of years of evolution, and that our most adaptive behaviors, the ones that improve survival and cooperation, also hold the keys to health, peace, happiness, and human potential. By studying these behaviors with better tools, better science, and better data, we aim to contribute to a world where people can consistently get the best out of themselves and others.
Our Approach
Our work sits at the intersection of research and application. While grounded in psychology and neuroscience, our goal is to inform different industries and communities, bringing scientific insight into practical contexts where it can improve lives.
Why This Matters for AI
Understanding human behavior is not only essential for wellbeing and mental health, it is also critical for the future of artificial intelligence. Current AI systems are powerful, but they lack a deep grounding in how humans actually think, feel, and cooperate. If we want AI, and eventually AGI, to truly serve humanity, we need better models of behavior, motivation, and resilience.
Our research provides insights that can guide the development of more human-aware AI systems, ensuring they align with values that promote survival, cooperation, and flourishing. By connecting evolutionary psychology and neuroscience with systems thinking, we aim to create a foundation where both people and machines can work together toward health, progress, peace, and happiness.
Call for Collaboration
This is a challenging field, and progress requires new ways of thinking. We are looking for collaborators, critics, and innovators who share the conviction that human behavior can be better understood, and better harnessed, for the good of all.
